Memories.....Sort ofMay 03, 2010 Well it has been years since I went to the corner deli and had me some cinnamon toothpicks...I think they were 5 cents for a pack of 10 and they were flat...Well here we are in 2010 and I come across them on this site...Order came in less then a week..As I opened my pack the first thing I noticed was the aroma of cinnamon...The second thing is the strong aroma of wood..Not sure what kind but it is very strong..3rd thing was they were very short and round...Probably 3/4 of a regular toothpick..As I popped one in my mouth I got the strong flavor of cinnamon...And a strong flavor of the wood...Don't get me wrong I think the flavor is great,in fact it will burn the lip so you have to be careful if you are sensitive...Flavor lasted quite a long time especially once you start chewing on it..All in all I was pleased with the product, but when I need a refill I may try my hand at making my own with cinnamon oil
Very Good Cinnamon Flavor Toothpicks - RecommendedSep 20, 2009 I found these Hot Cinnamon Toothpicks to be very strongly flavored, perhap too much so for some (like my wife), and to have a good bit of "heat" as well. I also like the size and solid feel of the toothpicks.
These have been good for me to chew on while dieting, recommended!
Fun little item.Sep 10, 2008 The toothpicks are very aromatic, and the cinnamon smell is strong enough that if you have a very sensitive nose you might not like them. However, they have a fairly strong taste that builds over time and actually gets a bit hot (especially where the toothpick touches your lips.) It's a fun little item to liven up an otherwise dull task.
Blast from the past !Jan 07, 2008 I haven't thought about cinnamon toothpicks in years. I was looking for something else when I came upon the toothpicks. These are good, nice breath freshener and good memories. What more can you ask for?
Different but still goodOct 06, 2007 As a kid growing up in the 70's, I remember cinnamon toothpicks that were very skinny pieces of wood individually wrapped in paper and quite flavorful.
These toothpicks are not the same as the ones I remember but are still quite good in their own right. These toothpicks are much thicker/sturdier and also hotter. They come in plastic containers of 75 each. Think of a short, stout toothpick crossed with a touch of Atomic Fireball, and that is what you are getting with these.
