An abomination of natureMar 19, 2010
They have a strange, unnatural, gritty texture and a vanilla-flavored rubber taste. Not at all like the original sugar-encrusted peeps (how nature intended peeps to be enjoyed, by the way) However, the best part of all is the warning on the package - "Warning: Excessive consumption may cause stomach discomfort and/or a mild laxative effect." And by 'excessive', they mean one peep!! If you try these ... well, let's just say, make sure you are close to a bathroom, and don't make any plans for the rest of the day!!
